Next take off the bolt covers at the base of the toilet bowl. The bolt covers just pop off. Use a wrench, sockets, or pliers to remove the nuts on the toilet bolts. Remove the nuts and washers.

Disconnect the water line from the toilet tank. You will need pliers to loosen the nut that connects the water line to the bottom of the tank.
