There are four main materials:
- Stainless Steel – Stainless steel offers a cost effective option for a durable, easy to care for, clean look. They can be purchased with different finishes to match your décor.
- Enameled Cast Iron – Enameled cast iron sinks are a heavy-duty option for a very durable sink. While the enamel creates a hard surface it can be chipped if heavy objects are dropped on them.
- Solid surface – Solid surface sinks are non-porous, seamless, and rimless. Since the color goes all the way through the material scratches can be buffed out.
- Composite - Composite sinks are made from a mixture of materials made to look like granite. They are durable, stain resistant, easy-to-clean and available in a range of colors.
