Dewinterize A Swamp Cooler

Remove all of the sides of the swamp cooler unit. To do this release the catch or clip and slide the panel up slightly and then out. Set the side panels down facing down.

To save some time later you may want to keep track of which panel belongs to each side of the unit. The panels are sometimes slightly different and they may not fit exactly right if they are put back on a different side of the swamp cooler.
