Buying A Tub - More Than Style And Price

By , About.com GuideFebruary 23, 2013

Follow me on:

When remodeling a bathroom the tub can often be a sticking point. The bathtub takes up a large part of the typical bathroom space and it can set the mood and style of the room. It can also be quite a challenge to replace.

To make this project easier it pays to do a little homework and take your time. Before buying a tub take some time to carefully consider all of the options and limitations. It doesn't do any good to get a great deal on a tub that is the wrong type for your bathroom or for your needs.

Start by measuring your available space and deciding what tub material and mounting type will best suit your needs and fit the space.
