Some shower leaks can be fixed with a simple repair while other are a bit more difficult. The first thing to do is to check where the leak is coming from.
- A leak from the showerhead - can be the cartridge or the seats and springs. Try this fix.
- A leak where the showerhead meets the shower arm - Try applying new Teflon tape.
- A leak where the shower arm comes out of the wall - this could be a broken shower arm. The repair for a leaking shower arm is more difficult than the other two but still manageable.
The point is you don't have to put up with an annoying shower leak.
