Connecting an offset sink drain can be a real challenge with traditional fittings. Even a very slight misalignment in the various drain parts can put strain on drain connections and result in leaks down the road. One way to get solve the problem without reinstalling all of the drain parts is to use flexible drain fittings.
Flexible fittings have the same configuration as traditional fittings but are also partially flexible. The flexible portion of the fitting can move up or to the side to make up the difference between two misaligned pipes.
