Keep That Drain Flowing Freely

Slow and clogged drains are a very common plumbing problem in most homes. The build-up that naturally collects over time reduces the size of the drain and therefore slows the progress of draining water.

There are a few things you can do to keep the drains flowing or clear a slow drain before it stops up completely.

• Zip-It Tool- my favorite tool for clearing build-up out of drains. This really inexpensive tool works wonders.
• Home Made Drain Cleaner - mild home-made drain cleaner can also help to work build-up out of the drain and get it flowing freely again.
• Yogurt Drain Cleaner - sounds strange but this is a natural way to clear build-up out of the drain.
