A leaky faucet is a very common plumbing problem. It is also usually fairly simple to fix.

As the components of the faucet wear out with age and use they can cause a leak. Usually all that is required is to replace the worn out part.

To fix a leaky faucet:

  1. Replace the seats and springs - like this Valley faucet
  2. Replace the cartridge - like this Moen Faucet

Start with the first and cheapest replacement. If that doesn't work try step number two. One or both of these should fix most leaky faucets.
