With the summer heat in full swing water consumption in the home can get out of control. Fortunately a few minor changes can make a big difference on how much water you are using.

Here are a few tips to cut down your use of water.

  1. Make sure your toilet is not running.
  2. Inspect the yard for over watering, leaky pipes, or sprinkler valves.
  3. You can always change the aerators in your sinks to save even more water.
  4. Fix your leaky faucets.
  5. Use your dishwasher and washing machine on full capacity.
