A Moen stem on a cartridge puller

Replacing a Moen cartridge is a good do-it-yourself repair for a leaky faucet. You can use a Moen Cartridge Puller to remove the old cartridge from your faucet. Which puller you use will depend on the cartridge that your faucet uses.

The T-Handle puller is used for cartridges 1200 and 1225.

The Moen Cartridge Puller 104421 can be used for cartridges 1200, 1222, and 1225.

If you don't know which cartridge you have, you will be safer to get the Moen Cartridge Puller 104421 because it can be used for all three types.
