If the time has come to replace your dishwasher you may think you will need to hire a professional to do it. Before you schedule a plumbing service call consider if this is a DIY project that you can manage on your own.

There are three parts to completing this project:

  1. Buying a new dishwasher. Before you start any work you will need to purchase a new dishwasher. Select a machine that is right for your home and your preferences.
  2. Removing the old dishwasher. If you know the steps to follow, removing a dishwasher is very straight forward.
  3. Installing a dishwasher. With the old machine out of the way you are ready to install you new dishwasher. Follow a few steps and complete the project smoothly.

As you can see, this apparently daunting project becomes much more manageable when you break it down into three stages.
