Clearing A Bathtub Drain

All of the hair that gets washed down a bathtub drain can build up over time, causing the drain to slow or stop up completely. But don't let a stopped up bathtub drain get you down. A clogged bathtub drain can be cleared fairly easily.

If your bathtub drain is slow but not fully stopped up try clearing out the buildup by removing and cleaning out the tub stopper.

If your drain is fully blocked you have two options. Most clogged bathtub drains can be cleared with a plunger.  If that doesn't work, the next step is to use a snake to clear the drain.
