Damaged Or Leaking Faucet? Check The Warranty First

Fixtures such as faucets, toilets, valves, and disposer often have a warranty that covers repairs or replacement parts. Many faucets even have a life time finish or drip guarantee.

I get many house calls that could be avoided if the homeowner started by calling the company to claim the warranty. Taking advantage of the warranty is easy; a quick phone call to the manufacturer and they will send new parts with an instruction manual for replacing it.

When you buy a new faucet or bathroom fixture staple the receipt to the warranty and instruction manual and keep it for your records.

This is a good sign of being responsible enough to avoid costs of replacing or even repairing them at least…A good reminder to keep…
